Ask where a result came from, compare notes across projects, or turn a discussion into a saved research note. The Kosmico connector reads and edits the files in the cloud projects you choose, through 11 tools. Reading is the default; creating and editing files is a separate permission you grant.
One connection can include several projects. Work on a different project in each chat or compare them in the same conversation. New projects are never included automatically.
Once connected, the hosted connector works in Claude on the web, Claude Desktop, Claude mobile, and Cowork. Claude Code uses its own native OAuth flow, which this hosted connector does not configure. Developers can reach the server at https://api.kosmico.ai/mcp; the client credentials for that server are issued by Kosmico and are not published.
When Kosmico appears in Claude's connectors, select it there and sign in to Kosmico. You choose whether to allow file changes. Your current project permissions still apply, and you can change the selection or revoke the connection from Kosmico. File deletion, local computer access, and code execution are unavailable.
