Terms for the Kosmico connector

Last updated

These terms apply to the Kosmico connection in ChatGPT and Codex. They supplement, rather than replace, the terms for the Kosmico platform and your subscription.

Who provides this connection

The Kosmico connector is provided by Kosmico SAS, 15 impasse des Violettes, 01280 Prévessin-Moëns, France. For support, contact support@kosmico.ai.

What you authorize

You explicitly choose one or more Kosmico cloud projects for each connection. New projects are not included automatically. You can change this selection from Connected apps; changes apply to all chats using that connection, while each operation targets a specific project. Reading is enabled by default. You may separately allow creating and editing files, subject to your current project permissions. The connector does not provide file deletion, access to local computer files, code execution or desktop control. You must have the right to share the selected projects' contents with the external AI service, including collaborators' contributions.

Connecting does not transfer ownership of your content. You authorize Kosmico to process and transmit the information needed to carry out requests through the connection. Your existing Kosmico and external-service subscriptions continue to apply; these terms do not change their pricing or billing conditions.

Changes and AI output

When you enable writing, requests from the connected service can change real project files and those changes can reach collaborators and synchronized devices. Review proposed edits and important results, and keep appropriate backups. AI-generated explanations and edits may contain errors. Do not rely on them without the review appropriate to your work.

Acceptable use

Use the connection only for projects and data you are authorized to access and share. Do not attempt to bypass permissions, extract another user's data, overload the service, or submit unlawful material. Follow any confidentiality, research, contractual or data-protection obligations that apply to your project.

Revocation and availability

You can revoke a connection from Kosmico's Connected apps page. Revocation prevents subsequent authorized requests; it does not undo edits or remove information already delivered to the external service. An operation already in progress may complete. Connections expire after 30 days and require renewed authorization. Logging out of Kosmico alone does not revoke an existing connection.

Kosmico may restrict or suspend a connection to address abuse, security incidents or loss of project access. Availability depends on Kosmico and the external service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. Material changes to these terms will be identified on this page; changes that require new authorization will ask for it.
